Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds tours damage in Shelby County, says FEMA expected to visit state Tuesday
The presidential disaster declaration for Iowa has not been approved yet.
Gov. Kim Reynolds expects FEMA to be on the ground Tuesday to verify some information.
Reynolds toured damaged areas in Shelby County on Monday after three tornadoes hit the county during April's outbreak.
One of those was an EF3 that decimated Minden before moving near Tennant and Harlan.

Reynolds said Iowans are resilient.
"It is inspiring every time I am on site and see just the unbelievable damage that's taking place. I'm always just so grateful and thankful and that Iowans, the community shows up," Reynolds said.
The Shelby County Emergency Management said early damage estimates are close to $100 million.
